New and Improved WATT Calculation

Watt Calculation

What is WATT?

WATT stands for Weighted Average Transfer Time. Your recent transactions have more weightage than the earlier transactions on the Money Club platform. So if you want to improve your WATT, try to complete your upcoming transactions at the earliest and your WATT will improve faster.

For example,

suppose there are total 5 transactions. The 1st transaction’s weight is taken as 1 and it’s multiplied by the transfer time. The 2nd transaction’s weight is taken as 2 & so on and it will be divided by n(n+1)/2 where n is the total number of your transactions.

  • 1st transaction transfer time  = 12 Hours
  • 2nd transaction transfer time = 10 Hours
  • 3rd transaction transfer time = 4 Hours
  • 4th transaction transfer time = 2 Hours
  • 5th transaction transfer time = 1 Hour

Weighted average transfer time = (12*1+10*2+4*3+2*4+1*5)/(5*(5+1)/2) = 3.8 Hrs

What is the new calculation of WATT and it’s benefits?

If the total number of transactions done by a money clubber is more than 60, the weights of the last 10 transactions will now be 30% of the sum of all the weights with the help of the new calculation. This means that through the new calculation, we are allowing the money clubbers to improve their WATT faster by changing their paying habits, and not be burdened by the weight from the old transactions in their histories as the last 10 transactions are holding 30% of the total weightage. If you have done less than or equal to 60 transactions then your WATT will be calculated based on the old calculation.

If your total number of transactions are more than 60, then the new weights of the last 10 transactions will be:

(Here n = Total number of transactions in the real clubs)

Moreover, the new sum of all the weights will be:

Sum of all weights = 5*(n-9)*(n-10)/7

Hence the new formula to calculate WATT will be:

WATT = [W1*(transfer time of 1st transaction)+W2*(transfer time of 2nd transaction)+……..+W(n-9)*(transfer time of (n-9)th transaction)+W(n-8)*(transfer time of (n-8)th +transaction)+W(n-7)*(transfer time of (n-7)th transaction)+……..+W(n)*(transfer time of nth transaction)]/[5*(n-9)*(n-10)/7]

For example, suppose there are total 70 transactions and the transfer time and the weight of the transactions are as given in the below table:

SUM = 5162

Each transfer time is multiplied to it’s weight to get the weighted transfer time.

Sum of the weighted transfer times = 5162

Sum of all weights = 5*(n-9)*(n-10)/7 = 5*(70-9)*(70-10)/7 = 2614

WATT (Weighted Average Transfer Time) = 5162/2614 = 1.97 hours

This new calculation of WATT will help the money clubbers to improve their WATT faster and reduce their commission.
